Refund and Returns Policy

This policy covers cancellations, returns and refunds for furniture sold by Green Lane Furniture (GREEN LANE FURNITURE LTD, company number 15612430). It should be read with our Shipping Policy and Terms of Service. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

Cancellations before dispatch

  • Email contact@greenlanefurniture.co.uk with your order number as soon as possible.
  • If goods have not been dispatched and are not being made to order, we will cancel and refund in full.
  • Once a carrier is booked or production has started on a custom item, cancellation may not be possible or a reasonable cost may be deducted.

Changing your mind (distance sales)

If you bought online or by phone, you usually have 14 days from delivery to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Tell us clearly (email is fine) within that period.

  • Return unused, unassembled stock furniture in a resaleable condition with original packaging where reasonably possible.
  • You are responsible for return carriage on bulky furniture unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong product.
  • We may deduct if the item’s value has diminished from handling beyond what is necessary to check it.
  • Made-to-measure, personalised or clearly personalised furniture is generally excluded from the cooling-off right once work has begun.

Faulty goods

If furniture is not as described, not fit for purpose or not of satisfactory quality, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Contact us as soon as you notice a fault. Short-term right to reject: 30 days from delivery for a full refund on qualifying faults.

  2. Wait for return instructions. Do not send large items back without agreement.
  3. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the goods or proof of return, as applicable.
